BELLA CENTER TO BE THE
BELLA DONNA OF FASHION

On the face of it, a financial crisis, loss of consumer confidence and a fashion industry under pressure does not sound like a recipe for a successful fashion fair in February 2010.

However, something sometimes comes from nothing. Bella Center and the industry have therefore decided to use the crisis to think afresh and give CIFF a major overhaul. Bella Center will become the Bella Donna of fashion.

When Copenhagen Fashion Week 2010 hits Copenhagen in February, buyers and exhibitors will discover a completely up-to-date CIFF and CIFFKIDS in Bella Center.

For several years we have been one of Europe's biggest fashion fairs. The plan now is to be bolder and smarter.

With greater cohesion between the various concepts, more trend shows and new and exciting culinary experiences.

It will basically be a whole new ball game. We are outsourcing the catering and are negotiating with suppliers such as Joe & The Juice, Sticks and Sushi and Bagel Co.

Exhibitors and buyers must be able to do more than make good deals - they must also have a good time, be inspired, learn and form new networks.

The CIFF team is very much looking forward
to welcoming everybody in February.

Buyers and exhibitors
will discover a brand new show hall. The main trend show is moving to hall C to create even more life in the exhibition area.

There will be more fairs within the fair - for example a lingerie fair in Fashion House and Bridge to Innovation for up-and-coming designers.

The Center Hall will also be given a brand new look and completely new activities, for example a foretaste of the Gallery fair in Forum.

CIFFKIDS will get its own show concept, 'Life inside a snowflake', a universe of experiences with an ice rink aimed at the autumn and winter 2010/11 fashion season.

At Fashion House, the work to renovate the menswear section is well underway - half of the area will be ready by February.

All of Bella Center will be given a revamp with everything from superb lounges and music to upgrading and decorating of even the toilet facilities.
