New sports fair at Ferie & Fritid i Bella
Thematization has been one of the keywords in the development of the Copenhagen travel fair, Ferie & Fritid i Bella – an approach that is now further strengthened with the introduction of a separate sports fair focusing on active holidays and lifestyles.
Club La Santa, one of the world’s leading sports and family centres, supports the thematization and looks forward to participating for the first time in the travel fair at Bella Center:
“Our participation is clearly motivated by the concept of a sports fair within the travel fair. We believe that a clear division will deliver the best results by making it easier for us to stand out from the crowd and reach our target audience. We expect at least 10,000 dedicated visitors, but naturally hope that all of the exhibition’s more than 40,000 guests will stop by our stand featuring ‘the world’s largest sports buffet’,” says Club La Santa Sales Director Michael Rygaard Jensen.
The new fair has also gained support from the travel agency Formula 1 Club:
“We see the sports fair as a fresh addition to an already exciting travel fair. All sports activities are gathered in one place, making it easy for interested visitors to find the specialised travel agencies,” says Formula 1 Club Partner Martin Bjerg.
The sports fair will be held in a separate hall at Bella Center during the travel fair and represents an important enhancement of the popular sports and leisure section at the 2012 fair:
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Club La Santa and Formula 1 Club to Ferie & Fritid i Bella. Their participation is a great strength, especially now that we are launching a brand new sports fair. In addition to sports resorts, visitors will discover agencies offering sports holidays, sports equipment and healthy food. In connection with the launch of the sports fair, we are organising an indoor 10 km run with Garmin as the main sponsor, where we will invite 500 runners to open the 2013 running season at the exhibition,” concludes Event Manager Malina Lebrecht Hye.
Ferie & Fritid i Bella will be held from 18-20 January 2013 at Bella Center.
